Five Finger Death Punch Unleash “Eye Of The Storm” — First Single From 10th Studio Album, 20th Anniversary World Tour Kicks Off In July
Twenty years deep and somehow heavier than ever — Five Finger Death Punch are back, and they are not tiptoeing into their next chapter. The Las Vegas hard rock juggernauts have just dropped “Eye Of The Storm,” the first single from their forthcoming 10th studio album, and the early signs suggest the band’s tenth swing might be one of their most ambitious yet.

Currently being recorded in Los Angeles, the new album follows weeks of cryptic social media snippets that sent the 5FDP faithful into overdrive. Founding guitarist Zoltan Bathory says the band whittled nearly 30 songs down to a final tracklist of 14 or 15, even flirting with the idea of a double album. According to Bathory, the new material brings back “that grit, that bite, that aggression” of the band’s earliest era while simultaneously pushing into cinematic, uncharted territory. Vocalist Ivan Moody, he adds, “sounds absolutely huge on this record.” Translation: if you missed the early-era 5FDP bark, you are about to be very, very fed.
With 30 Top 10 hit singles, 18 Active Rock #1s, and a record-setting 13 consecutive Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay #1s already in the trophy case, the bar is genuinely absurd. “Eye Of The Storm” looks poised to keep that streak alive — fan reaction to the pre-release teasers was instant and global, and the full track delivers the cinematic heaviness Bathory promised.
The single arrives alongside the launch of the band’s 20th Anniversary World Tour, a celebration of two decades that began with the 2005 formation of the band and the 2007 release of their debut LP, The Way Of The Fist. Produced by Live Nation, the 48-city North American leg kicks off Monday, July 20 at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, NJ, and rolls through October 23 at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA. Country heavyweight Cody Jinks and rising rock force Eva Under Fire — whose single “Villainous” featuring Maria Brink is currently climbing the Rock Charts — will support across the run.
There is also a meaningful mission attached to the trek. A portion of ticket sales from the 2026 North American tour will benefit high-performance programs for U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes preparing for international competition, with the Los Angeles 2028 Games on the horizon. It is a fitting move from a band that has already donated over a million dollars to philanthropic causes ranging from veterans’ support to suicide prevention and first responder relief.
Across the pond, the just-announced 2027 UK and European arena leg sees 5FDP joined by Lamb Of God and Bleed From Within, kicking off January 16 at Manchester’s AO Arena and wrapping February 22 in Helsinki, hitting 21 cities in between — including London’s O2 Arena, Paris’s Accor Arena, and Berlin’s Uber Arena.
In the meantime, “Eye Of The Storm” is the appetizer, the new album is the main course, and the global tour is the after-party. If you have been waiting for 5FDP to remind everyone exactly why they have spent six straight years parked in the Billboard Hard Rock top three, this is the moment.
