Kingdom Collapse Announce New Album ‘Survivor’ Out 10/30 via Mascot Records, Share Anthemic Title Track Video

San Antonio hard rock outfit Kingdom Collapse aren’t here to whisper sweet nothings — they’re here to bottle up every ounce of heartbreak, loss, and grit and bash it into arena-sized hooks you can scream along to in your car at full volume. And on October 30, they’ll do exactly that on their new album Survivor, arriving via Mascot Records.

To kick off the album cycle, the band has unleashed the video for the title track “Survivor,” a thundering, fist-in-the-air anthem that lives up to its name. It’s the kind of song built for the back row of the venue and the worst day of your week — equal parts pummeling riffs and stadium-ready uplift.

“I wrote ‘Survivor’ while looking back at times of struggle and loss in my life,” vocalist Jonathan Norris explains. “I realized that those experiences made me who I am today. We want our fans to know that whatever life puts in your path, you can overcome.”

Bassist Aaron Smith echoes the sentiment, calling the song “an anthem for all of humanity.” “Whether it’s big or small, we all have challenges in our lives. Optimism is the key for getting through the storms that life brings our way. With a positive mindset and a fighting mentality, we can all be ‘Survivors.'”

That message is more than marketing — it’s the foundation of the band itself. Norris and Smith have been friends since childhood, bonding over music after Norris lost his father at just eight years old. “Music became my light,” he says. “I connected with it, and it gave me hope for the future. Kingdom Collapse is a band that carries that torch.” Rounded out by guitarist David Work and drummer Gaston Flores, the four-piece has spent years grinding it out on the road, racking up hundreds of shows a year alongside the likes of Three Days Grace, Nothing More, From Ashes To New, Fire From The Gods, ATTACK ATTACK!, and Adelita’s Way.

The hard work has paid off. Their breakout “Uprise” cleared 5 million Spotify streams, and 2022’s independent Unbreakable EP delivered their biggest single to date — the title track “Unbreakable” has now surpassed 11 million Spotify streams and hit No. 1 on Octane. That momentum caught the ear of Mascot Records, who signed the band in 2025.
