@Finneasofficial’s first music video was this whole thing with romantic vignettes projected in a movie theater while he performed in front of the screen.

They shot the romantic footage on Super 8 one weekend, sent it off to get developed (takes a few days), then the next weekend they had an all-nighter at the Los Feliz 3 after it closed at 11pm.

Around hour twelve someone decided they should dump popcorn all over him. He remembers thinking “why are we doing this?” but he was so pumped.

@AsheMusic asks if he was excited about shooting videos back then. He’d eventually grow to hate the process, but in that moment? “Oh yeah, I wanted to be a star so bad.”
