Embracing the worlds of video game music and the culture of the internet, keyboardist and composer Will Matthews recently put out his first solo project, “It Takes Time.” While Matthews has been creating video game remixes for a while on YouTube, this is his first foray into putting out his original music, influenced by chiptune, lo-fi, and all things synth. The end product is ten tracks that feel like they could fall right into your favorite gaming universe and not be out of place. Coupled with the fact that Matthews is also considered legally blind, it makes the worlds that he creates through music that much grander. Check out the album here:
