After much anticipation, Mo’City dropped his new album, “Milwaukee’WI” on Friday. With 15 tracks in total, the Camp Shuttlesworth rapper gives you plenty of music to ride to, and raps like he has something to prove from front to back. His beat selection is strong, leaning on drawn out synths over percussion that has the right knock to it, and it complements his wordy verses, filled with phonetic trickery. Guest appearances from Holly Mae, PeezSW, C’zo and more bring the Shuttlesworth team along for the ride, but Mo is there to hold things down for the lion’s share of t Mo’City is on top of his game and one of the artists on top of the city’s rap scene, but he still puts in an effort that makes you feel like he’s trying to earn more than his name.
