Lah-Kid reemerged with a new album on Friday, and his trademark voice is a welcome one to return to Milwaukee hip hop. The established veteran comes back with ten tracks on “Dead Homie$ Telling Stories For Me,” led off by the all-too-fitting “Back From The Dead.” Lah-Kid’s vocal performance has always been a gritty one, but the bars only get sharper with each track, proving that he’s still nice with the pen and has plenty to say. Cameos from Yo-Dot, Chevy Keyz, and Gwapo Chapo are proof of Lah-Kid’s multigenerational appeal, respected by many for over a decade of hard bars. Check out the album below:
