Singer-songwriter Genevieve Heyward released her sophomore single a couple weeks back. “Don’t Forget” is a piano-driven tune where Heyward ponders a situation in which she felt she wasted her time, singing of the past’s hold on her even as she grows. Her voice illuminates vivid memories of youthful love that ultimately got her down, contemplating the poignance of futility and retrospect.
