AUDIO: Eric Blowtorch and the Welders – “Salt Water”

Eric Blowtorch continues to delve back into his history, digitally releasing music from his extensive past via Bandcamp. That includes “Salt Water,” a reggae track circa 2008 that taps into a roots sound. Blowtorch provides the A-side, which features almost western-sounding guitars with lyrics about exploring on a seemingly endless journey. A dub version of the track follows, with Welders doing their version of the song. Their version sounds just a bit more tribal, with a bongo line accenting the core of the song, and big dub reverbs taking things to a more massive sound. Check out both versions of the song below:
