VIDEO: Mr. Nice Guy with Kendall Cook

One of our contributors, Ben Slowey, is more than on top of the local music scene. In addition to his work for Breaking And Entering, he also hosts the Mr. Nice Guy podcast, an interview-based show that reaches out to Milwaukeeans for conversations about what motivates them. Many of these shows fittingly involve the local music scene, and we’ll be sharing some of them here as well.

This time around, Ben talks with Riverwest multi-instrumentalist and local scene aficionado, Kendall Cook. Aside from being at shows every week, he makes music of his own under the name Ken Dahl and the Ken Dolls – his last EP “The President Project” came out in 2018. They discussed Kendall’s origins going to shows and playing music of his own, Riverwest shows, our fav local bands, his past projects, and music he is working on now. Full disclosure: the Nasty Boys recorded their episode right before this and got Ben hammered. So there’s that.
