The wave doesn’t stop. In addition to his solo work as CMoneywave, the Chicago emcee recently linked up with DJ Skoli to form Zebrawave. The duo not only is an extension of C’s sound, but gives Skoli a chance to get behind the microphone, and we get to hear that on their first single, “2 Cool”. The track has a bit of unique swagger about it, feeling reminiscent in some respects to The Cool Kids, but expands beyond that sound to include the style that CMoneywave has built for himself on his own. We’ll see if this eventually becomes a Zebrawave project, but for now, enjoy the debut single with “2 Cool” below:
