Fresh off of a collaboration with Milwaukee’s J-Lamo, Chicago emcee CMoneywave is back with a new loose drop, “8:05”. The track plays like a freestyle, but C knows how to make an impact with his words. Produced by Flash Beats, the beat features a trademark Chicago pitched vocal sample that makes the release a little more intimate sounding, and the verses touch on some personal thoughts as well. CMoneywave doesn’t shy away from his feelings, mentioning the state of So Serious Sound, and his determination to persevere and make it on his own.
