Back in 2016, we held a show called The Pop Up at Club Anything in Walker’s Point, which featured Chicago’s CMoneywave and Milwaukee’s J-Lamo on the bill. Those two kept in touch since the show, and the product of that comes with Lamo’s newest video, “Doze Off”, which features CMoneywave. The track hits extra hard, with production from Charley Cooks, and top-notch verses from both artists. The clip, directed by Steven Heil, features a weed nap-ready J-Lamo in a haze on his way through Chicago. More than just being bar-heavy, the track stands out for the ability to create a whole mood as a song altogether, with all of the right elements fitting into place.
