AUDIO: Knuckle Puck – “Shapeshifter”

Times are changing for Knuckle Puck, and you can hear that growth on their new album, “Shapeshifter”, which is out today. The first full length album from the band since 2015’s “Copacetic”, the band still packs a punch, while showing the melodic side of them that has accelerated their rise in the pop punk ranks. The album is anchored around the recent singles from the band, “Double Helix”, “Gone”, and “Want Me Around”, all of which conjure up mental images of enthusiastic crowds bouncing in unison, similar to their hometown appearance at this year’s Riot Fest. Knuckle Puck are great at mixing the tendencies of emo’s mid-2000s heyday while remaining current at the same time, bridging the gap in between two eras of pop punk. Whether you’re a fan of Story of the Year circa “Page Avenue”, or All Time Low circa “Last Young Renegade”, there’s something for you in this album. Check it out below:
