You find music in the most random of places sometimes. We got our introduction to Pittsburgh punk band Nightmarathons at Lee’s Luxury Lounge in Bay View, where we happened to be hanging out. The band was drinking with members of Direct Hit! following a house show with the band and Honey Creek, and one thing led to another, and now we have a great EP for you to check out. The band’s self titled release came out this past May, and if you’re a fan of the (dare we say it) more punk side of the term “pop punk”, you’ll love it. This is an energetic release with a lot of promise, and one that you’ll be coming back to over and over. Check out Nightmarathons’ self titled EP below:
