INTERVIEW: Lo Moon
Lollapalooza is a breakout opportunity for many bands, and among them this year is LA’s Lo Moon. The band has a limited amount of material out already, two songs to be exact, but will bring their full set to the Pepsi Stage on Sunday. We caught up with the band to talk more about their festival experience:
B&E: Introduce Yourselves!
LM: We are Lo Moon, Matt Lowell, Sam Stewart and Crisanta Baker
B&E: You guys are playing Lollapalooza with only two songs released to the public. Does that feel a bit surreal?
LM: It definitely does. We feel really lucky!
B&E: When can we expect a full project from the band?
LM: We will have some new music out soon and news on the album to follow!
B&E: You’ve played with some big acts on some big stages so far. Who has been your favorite band to play with?
LM: They’ve all been amazing, and we’ve learning so much from each act we’ve played with. We see ourselves as a sponge, soaking up everything we can when supporting other great bands.
B&E: What’s next for Lo Moon after this?
LM: We will continue to tour and release new music! We’re really excited to share more.
B&E: Finally, which other artists at Lollapalooza are you hoping to catch while you’re here?
LM: I think we will hop around a bunch. Definitely Arcade Fire, London Grammar, Chance the Rapper, and many more.
