Who says you need a big beat to make a good hip hop song? Chicago native Ace Da Vinci skips all of that, going completely a capella for “Hands Up”, his latest release. The video for the track is minimal as well, essentially being one random take on what looks like home video footage. However, this says something about music overall; you don’t need all of the production and hype sometimes. At it’s core, music is just, well, music, and if it’s good (like this is), it’s going to be something you want to hold onto and sing along with. This is just that. I could get more philosophical, but just enjoy the song and the video below:
