Comet Tales feat. Ryan Longworth
Comet Tales, a project starting with Samer Ghani teamed up with high school friend and former band-mate, Ryan Longworth to play a private party for the employees of Outpost (on KK in Bay View, WI) at the new Anodyne on Bruce St. (continuation of Bay View/downtown Milwaukee, WI). Samer was approached a week before this evening (January 25, 2014) and put together a set list of songs to cover by Angels and Airwaves (a huge inspiration for Comet Tales). Together, the duo used an electronic keyboard, guitar, bass, and drum machine run off of a Mac to create this awesome show for the employees and their guests. With given a weeks notice and almost rushing the process, they pulled it off, making a huge success and applause. I’m sure this will not be the last we hear of this collaboration. However, Comet Tales is currently writing an album of original compositions that will be produced within the next year. Can’t wait to hear more!
