This week’s Milwaukee Artist of the Week is Yo-Dot, of the Umbrella Music Group. Yesterday, he released his highly antcipated album, “Red Mist“, 11 tracks of hard hitting hip hop. There’s no denying that Yo-Dot’s flow is relentless, and Red Mist backs that up and then some. Coupled with some great production from 40 Mil, Audio Pilot, Haz Solo, amongst others, and you have a very high quality release. Red Mist had been delayed for some time, but it was well worth the wait. Red Mist is just the latest of Yo-Dot’s quality projects on UMG. Check out this clip of “Problems” from his previous release, “The Shorecrest Memoirs EP” (and ignore those shots in Chicago).
