This is Empires. They’re from Chicago, and they are awesome. I saw these guys in May, opening for Margot & The Nuclear So And So’s at Marquette’s Annex while there was a thunderstorm / tornado warning outside. In June, I saw them at the Verge Music Festival where it had just rained / continued to rain throughout the night. Here’s there new video, “Bang”, free from any serious weather on your computer.
