Quick Weekend Recap:
I saw Henry Rollins speak at UWM Friday night, and it was nothing short of amazing. Henry’s been doing spoken word since his days in Black Flag, and has figured out the formula to captivate an audience. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find a video from his UWM appearance, but this is earlier on his spoken word tour, in Budapest, talking about Thanksgiving mostly:
What I love about his performance is that he admits that he never says no to working. He takes every opportunity handed to him if he’s available. That is awesome. My favorite quote from the night was “Life is short, so we should do a lot of things before we keel over.” If you get a chance, go see Rollins perform. I’ll be there, too.
