MT Twins recently dropped their first full-length project since 2021. “ME X TWIN” is a fresh return to form for the hip hop duo, showcasing the brothers’ exceptional interplay between verses and keen duality of amusing bars and meaning business. There’s an overarching theme here of staying away from brokeness at all costs (best summed up by the “Wakanda” bar “I had a nightmare I was broke, it gave me chills”) with room also made for sentimental subject matter of loss, relationships and staying true to oneself. Chicken P and Mykell X each make features (“One More Time” and “Stuck On You”, respectively). With some visuals dropped already this year as well, MT Twins never went anywhere, and we can imagine they’ve got more in store for the coming months.
