Since the reinvention of Twin Brother frontman Sean Raasch as Reins Daily, there’s been some wonder as to what the new project will sound like. With his first release, “Wild Ways Will Save Us”, we get a glimpse into the dark, personal material that comprises the new sound. In addition to single “In Our Likeness Is Our Difference”, the album builds around that theme, with brooding tracks like “If Love Has An Ego” and “You’re So Honest”. True standout element of the project, though, is Raasch’s heartfelt, honest delivery of some reflective lyrics throughout. Those lyrics give the album weight, and while it may not be something you put on at a party, it is definitely something worth listening and connecting to.
