VIDEO: Tacoma Washington Weekday Club – “LUSC1N1A”

Tacoma Washington Weekday Club have been steadily putting in work since the release of their “THISISHOWITFEELSTOALMOSTDIE” project this past June, and have a stellar new video for “LUSC1N1A” as a part of that. The track is deeply emotional to begin with, featuring dramatic piano parts and subdued vocals from frontman Logan Blatt-Prevatt, and the visual only heightens the excitement that comes out of the song. With an epic visual from director Eddie Curran, the band puts their all into their work, with a short film playing out in the duration of the track. Things are only going upward for Tacoma Washington Weekday Club, and you can get a glimpse of their hard work and effort with the video below:

It takes a lot to make a solid emo album in 2019, but Tacoma Washington Weekday Club have done that with their sophomore release, “THISISHOWITFEELSTOALMOSTDIE”. Combining elements of shoegaze, indie pop, and taking some experimental risks, the band take leaps forward from their initial release, 2017’s “All I Loved, I Loved Alone”. In that time, the band has increasingly played out more, and that live experience translates into some more upbeat numbers, wasting no time on tracks like the opener “THEMOSTMUSTSEEEVENTOFTHEYEAR”. In general, there’s more aggression on this record, and it comes out in the right way. We’ll see a lot more of Tacoma Washington Weekday Club this summer, and you can listen to “THISISHOWITFEELSTOALMOSTDIE” below:
