VIDEO: Breonte – “Insecure”

Hip hop artist Breonte has a new single and video out. Shot by Fredo Young while the song is produced by Eem Triplin, the scene finds Breonte having a smoke alone in the cold, channeling his self-doubt and outcast mentalities. He’s taking time to get his mind clear, reflecting on what he’s put his trust in to find meaning. It’s a personal and uncompromising moment from Breonte; we’ve been watching what he’s up to and he’s definitely an emerging artist to know.

AUDIO: Rahn Harper – “Insecure”

Just a couple of months removed from his last single, Rahn Harper is back with a smooth new single, “Insecure”. The track deals with the fallout of a bad breakup, and how to effectively get away from the messiness. Produced by Charley Cooks, the track is a bass-heavy bop, with Harper’s vocal melodies making the track extra catchy. There’s elements of hip hop, R&B and pop all rolled into one to make up Harper’s sound, and tracks like this are the peak effectiveness for that combination. With two singles out this summer, it feels like Rahn Harper is building to something bigger, and we’ll likely know more about it in the near future. For right now, check out “Insecure” below:
