VIDEO: YBN Kenny – “Why You Go Crazy Like Dat?”

YBN Kenny is back with a new single and visual, and we get his own version of CSI with the clip for “Why You Go Crazy Like Dat?”. The track, produced by RichieWitDaHitz, hits all of the hallmarks of an underground Milwaukee rap track, with YBN Kenny providing his signature flavor over the top. The video from Famous Motion & Photography gives us the full narrative, with a local “clout chasing” rapper becoming a victim of a shooting, and Kenny is the lead suspect. It’s definitely an expansion on your standard Milwaukee rap video, a la the dozens that flood YouTube daily, and still gives you a good idea of what YBN Kenny is all about. VIDEO: Spaidez – “U Aint Gone Find Another”

There aren’t many artists that have the work ethic of Spaidez. After a strong year of dropping videos, the Milwaukee emcee is back with another clip, this time for “U Aint Gone Find Another”. Directed by Famous Motion & Photography, we get a tough performance clip, and another solid track as well. Featuring an autotune-accented flow, Spaidez’ unique style comes across in both the sound and visuals on this one. Is there anyone in the city more likely to rap their verse with a snake around their neck? Didn’t think so. Check out the video for “U Aint Gone Find Another” below:

VIDEO: King Myles – “Shipwrecked”

King Myles continues to put out content this summer, with his latest visual for “Shipwrecked”. The Hiii Tribe leader can definitely craft a song beyond just rapping, as you can hear by the hook that is destined to get stuck in your head. The Famous Motion & Photography directed-video also pushes things creatively, with Myles literally on an island all his own. The bars are deep, and the slapping production conjures up thoughts of backpack hip hop, which gets a shout-out in the form of Madlib and J-Dilla references in the verses of the song. “Shipwrecked” is a strong look overall, and another piece of quality material from Hiii Tribe. VIDEO: Escape Artist & King Bravo – “They Don’t Know” (Premiere)

Back in January, the “Land By The Lake II” compilation was rolled out in two parts, combining some of Milwaukee’s top tier hip hop talent for unique collaborations. Today, we have the last video from that project, with the premiere of “They Don’t Know” by Escape Artist & King Bravo, shot by Famous Motion & Photography. The track is produced by Auggie Beats, and features both artists spitting some underrated bars over the top of a tough, sample-laden beat. Props to DScribe for putting this project together, as we’ve already heard that “Land By The Lake III” is in the preproduction phases. VIDEO: Spaidez – “4ever”

Spaidez is gearing up for the release of his “Strxwberry Eyez 2” project, and the build only gets bigger with every new piece of content that he drops. The latest addition comes in the form of a new Famous Motion & Photography directed visual, “4ever”, which will be the first track on the project. The track features a flip of a Drake hook, but the addition of Spaidez’ signature sound, which he describes as a mixture of trap and rock in the song. The entire Arthaus Bando roster continues to pave their own lane, and Spaidez is one of the forerunners of doing so, as you can hear on the single. Check out the video for “4ever” below:

VIDEO: VatoDre Featuring P.o.p. Bandit – “My Wave”

The new names in Milwaukee hip hop seem to appear almost daily, which makes for an invigorated, fun scene, even if at times things feel crowded. Amongst the new names looking to push their way forward in a pack is VatoDre, who teamed up with P.o.p. Bandit for his new single, “My Wave”. Both artists make the most of production from CashLeSure, and deliver strong verses to make up the track. The video from Famous Motion & Photography gives us more of an introduction to the artists, with a strong performance clip. We’ll be on the lookout for more from VatoDre and P.o.p. VIDEO: Rizenhower The Great Poupon Featuring Kewii – “To The Beat”

There’s a solid group of Milwaukee hip hop artists looking to do something differently for themselves, with a sound influenced by the genre’s “golden era”, but remaining progressive. That’s where the latest from Rizenhower The Great Poupon and kEwii are at with their latest video for “To The Beat”. With production from DScribe, the duo bring lyrics in both English and Spanish to the track, which is the second single from the upcoming “Riz” EP, due out soon. The clip comes courtesy of Famous Motion & Photography, and provides a glimpse into the creation of the track with a performance clip. We’ll be on the lookout for the “Riz” EP, but for now, check out “To The Beat” below:

VIDEO: Spaidez – “Too Hotty (Remix)”

Spaidez isn’t slowing down his momentum from 2017, and he’s definitely working to improve himself for 2018, as well as the release of his upcoming project, “Strxwberry Eyez 2”. With an autotuned flow, he takes on Quality Control and Migos’ “Too Hotty” instrumental to put his own spin on things. The Famous Motion & Photography shot video shows a confident artist poised on carving his name further in the Milwaukee hip hop scene, along with the rest of the Arthaus Bando collective. VIDEO: L.O.G.I.C., Mad Static, and JD “The Chief” – “Luxurious Lyricism” (Premiere)

If you didn’t hear the Land By The Lake II project that dropped earlier this year, you’ve missed out on one of the biggest collaborative efforts in Milwaukee hip hop for some time. Fear not, though, because Land By The Lake II Part 2 is dropping soon, and today we’re premiering the first video from the upcoming release. “Luxurious Lyricism” features verses from L.O.G.I.C., Mad Static, and JD “The Chief”, with production from project organizer DSCRIBE and a video courtesy of Famous Motion and Photography. The track is a solid posse cut, and also features a return to the microphone for Mad Static, with one of his first drops in a while.  All three emcees hold things down over a spacy beat, and this is a great preview of what’s to come with Part 2 of the larger than life feeling mixtape. VIDEO: Manny Baby – “I Had Ta”

Manny Baby is one of the many names in Milwaukee working on building up his buzz to stand out in the crowded hip hop scene. His latest effort, “I Had Ta”, features plenty of swagger, and the Famous Motion and Photography-shot visuals reinforce that, with Manny Baby taking his track to the streets. The video comes in advance of a new mixtape, “Handy Manny”, which will likely feature the single. Manny Baby continues to grind and make moves, and we’ll see where he takes things on the new mixtape. VIDEO: King Myles – “Maestro”

When the momentum is flowing in the right direction for the leader of the Hiii Tribe, King Myles is simply refusing to let that creative energy slip. We now have the visuals for the recently released single, “Maestro”, courtesy of Famous Motion & Photography. Much like the song, the video is full of confident swagger, as Myles rightly takes his place in the spotlight. For being laid back from a production standpoint, there’s a lot of hype that comes off of this track, and it’s definitely one that gets a live crowd bouncing along if you’ve seen King Myles perform. Things are looking good for King Myles and the rest of Hiii Tribe as they wrap up 2017, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store next. Check out the video for “Maestro” below:

VIDEO: A.C.E. – “Great”

Among the heap of young artists in Milwaukee looking to make their way out of the pack is A.C.E., a newer artist with the swagger and confidence of an experienced vet. On his new single, “Great”, he mixes contemporary hip hop and pop influences to create a track full of stylish verses and a catchy hook. The track has all the makings of a single, and A.C.E.’s personality, which comes out in the Famous Motion & Photography video, sells the track well. A.C.E. is one of the young talents on the rise in the city, and we’ll undoubtedly see more from him very soon. In the meantime, check out “Great” below:

VIDEO: Deucé – “Remy”

There’s swagger, and then there’s stunting outside of the US Bank building with a bottle of Remy Martin. The latest from Deucé, “Remy”, has plenty of both, with a hype track to boot. Produced by Reddi, the track features your standard fare of hip hop braggadocio from Deucé, with a solid flow on the verses to keep the track moving. Some clean visuals from Famous Motion & Photography put things over the top, including aforementioned Remy-filled stunting. We’ll be looking for more from Deucé in the near future, but for now, get a proper introduction with “Remy” below:

VIDEO: YoungTwizzle – “Incense Music”

Well, it’s no secret what this track is about. Milwaukee’s YoungTwizzle is back with a video for the second single off of his most recent mixtape, “Incense Music”. The title track of the mixtape, Twizzle keeps his tone low, and extra laid back as only a smoker could with his delivery for the title track of the tape. The video, courtesy of Famous Motion & Photography, is conceptually simple yet effective. When the song is about smoking weed, that’s pretty much all you need to do to stay on brand with the visuals. Whether you partake or not, “Incense Music” is worthy of a play if you’re looking for a chilled out  track for your day. Check out the video below:
