AUDIO: Detraction – “More Songs About Rain”

Experimental-electronic project Detraction released a new EP at the end of October. It’s six tracks, venturing into frequencies emanated like fragmented hallucinations. Bookended by two ambient pieces, the body of this work contains periodic vocals, loose pop phrases and precipitation samples that altogether feels like a Lynchian meditation. Detraction drifts off into dystopia with “More Songs About Rain.”
