It’s a mad honour and a priviledge to have worked with @jacobcollier on Mahogany Sessions since 2019, and every time we collaborate it presents a new set of challenges for our team in terms of how we capture each one both visually and audibly.

Truth be told is never a huge amount of time to prep for a Mahogany Session with Jacob, as we typically get the call a few days before – normally completely out of the blue – but that creates this unique pressure on all sides to come together and create something that fits his musical and creative world at the time.

There is a story behind every video, and a ton of comments about how we capture the sound – of which we have to regularly set the record straight. For now just know, if Jacob is wearing a hat or bandana, that’s where the vocal mic is 👀
