The Kody Norris Show Goes Big at Mount Rushmore in New “Good Ol’ USA” Music Video

When a band decides to film a music video, most pick a cornfield, a barn, maybe a neon-lit honky-tonk if they’re feeling fancy. The Kody Norris Show went ahead and booked Mount Rushmore.

The award-winning country and bluegrass group has officially premiered the music video for their latest single, “Good Ol’ USA,” and they did not come to play small. Shot on location at one of the most recognizable landmarks on the planet, the visual delivers exactly what fans have come to expect from these rhinestone-clad showmen: big personality, big harmonies, and now, four 60-foot presidential faces looming behind them. The video made its broadcast debut on RFD-TV and is also being featured on Taste of Country’s “Top 10 Video Countdown.”

“Good Ol’ USA” is the latest taste of the band’s forthcoming album, Spirit of America, due out Friday, June 26, on Rebel Records. Written by Kody Norris and Larry Chunn, the track arrives right as the country gears up for America250, leaning fully into the pride, joy, and unmistakable bounce that has become a Kody Norris Show trademark.

“‘Good Ol’ USA’ embodies all the feelings of celebrating America250,” Norris said. “When we began seeking out locations to film a music video we wanted something iconic that would make a statement. Mount Rushmore was at the top of our list but presented several monumental challenges (no pun intended)! With the help of some amazing park rangers, our top-notch team and after putting several thousand miles of asphalt behind us, our dream video set became a reality.”

Spirit of America is shaping up to be one of the group’s most ambitious releases yet, blending tributes to home, faith, service, unity, and heritage with the high-energy “showgrass” sound that has earned them multiple IBMA and SPBGMA nominations and wins, including Entertainer of the Year and Instrumental Group of the Year. With prior albums All Suited Up and Rhinestone Revival both landing in the Billboard Top 10, the bar is set high, and this one is built for the moment.

The band is also deep into their 2026 Spirit of America tour, which includes more than 60 shows across 20 states, plus a first-ever appearance at Colorado’s legendary RockyGrass festival alongside Punch Brothers, The Del McCoury Band, Tim O’Brien, and Steep Canyon Rangers.
