Brook Fox Announces Final Pre-EP Single “Anywhere with You” Ahead of Debut ‘Everybody’s in Love’

Burry Port’s brightest indie-pop export is back. Brook Fox has lined up one final single ahead of his highly anticipated debut EP, “Everybody’s in Love,” and if the promo trail so far is anything to go by, it might just be the one that tips him from “rising act” into full-blown radio mainstay.

Titled “Anywhere with You,” the track lands on the 8th of May across all streaming platforms, serving as the last calling card before the EP drops on May 22nd. It’s a highly energetic indie-pop cut that blends driving momentum with a cinematic sense of escape — pairing the heartland charm of Bruce Springsteen with the jangling guitar shimmer of The Cure. The result is a restless, emotionally charged anthem that captures the tension between nostalgia and the need to leave something behind.

Lyrically, the song digs into something a lot of small-town kids know intimately: the itch to get out before the place you grew up in swallows you whole. “‘Anywhere with You’ tells the story of wanting to leave your hometown before drama and jealousy boil over,” Brook explains. “It draws directly from my relationship with Burry Port, a place that shaped so much of my childhood, but one that feels like it’s deteriorating as I grow older.”

The single isn’t just a standalone moment, either. It’s been built as a deliberate companion piece to “Together,” the opening track on “Everybody’s in Love.” Where “Together” plants the seed, “Anywhere with You” lets it grow, expanding the emotional world of the EP and hinting at the bigger narrative arc still to come. Smart sequencing for a debut release, and proof that Brook is thinking about the bigger picture rather than just chasing singles.

The momentum behind him is real. Previous singles earned two consecutive weeks on the BBC Radio Wales Welsh A-List, with further support from Newport City Radio, Phoenix FM, Bombshell Radio, and a string of US regional plays. Add in a Gigslutz “Track of the Day” feature, inclusion on the “This Feeling” Best New Bands Playlist, and write-ups in everything from The Alternative Nation and Nation Cymru to a very tidy mention in Clash Magazine, and the picture becomes clear — this is an artist whose stock is rising fast.

Fans of Two Door Cinema Club, Bloc Party, and The Wombats will find plenty to latch onto here, but Brook Fox’s voice — both vocally and thematically — is very much his own. There’s a Welsh restlessness running through it, a willingness to look at the world (elites, billionaires, the general feeling that everything is “in flames”) and still leave room for hope.
