Colorblind Announce Debut Album “Who Sold You This Truth ++ Was It Yours To Hold,” Drop “Pressure” Video
Austin’s heavy-music dreamers are leveling up. Colorblind — vocalist Travis Moseley, drummer Tyler Moseley, bassist Nicholas Asper, and guitarist Justin Page — have officially announced their debut full-length album, “Who Sold You This Truth ++ Was It Yours To Hold,” arriving August 28 via Solid State Records. To mark the occasion, the quartet has shared the cinematic video for album opener “Pressure,” a hyperkinetic, pit-ready track that doubles as a thesis statement for everything that makes this band tick.

If you haven’t been initiated into “dreamcore” yet, consider this your formal invitation. Colorblind have planted their flag at the center of the sub-genre, fusing thundering detuned riffs with ambient textures and pop-forward melody. The result is metalcore wrapped in a cinematic atmosphere — heavy enough to crack a windshield, melodic enough to live rent-free in your head for weeks. It’s a world the band has carefully built across their music videos and stage shows, and based on the way their audience keeps showing up, it’s a world a lot of people want to move into.
“‘Pressure’ is about the weight of your own mind crushing you from the inside out,” Travis Moseley explains. “This was one of the first songs made for the record. I was really feeling the pressure of signing my first record deal, making my first album, and it was all coming to a head. I’m so grateful to have all of this pressure in my life.”
That mix of vulnerability and ferocity is exactly what’s pushed Colorblind from scrappy independent uploads to one of the most-talked-about new voices in modern heavy music. Since forming in 2017, they’ve stacked breakout singles like “Motionless,” “Needle Eye,” and the SiriusXM Octane–featured “Letdown,” racking up more than 30 million streams along the way. Their label debut EP, WHO SOLD YOU THIS TRUTH, opened the door to tours with blessthefall, Miss May I, and Dayseeker, plus major festival stages. The new LP picks up that momentum and runs straight through the wall with it.
