Miss Bashful Drops ‘Glamour Snobby’ Album and Princess Superstar-Featuring Single “Girlz On Tour”

Dance music’s most unapologetically theatrical it-girl just leveled up. Today, Miss Bashful releases her debut full-length, Glamour Snobby, via Polydor/Capitol Records, and if you were expecting her to tone things down for the major-label moment, you clearly haven’t been paying attention.

The Mexico City-born, Texas-raised, Berlin-based provocateur has been quietly (well, loudly) building one of the most distinct identities in underground dance music for years. She calls her sound “Slut Tech,” a pop-theatrical mutation of Detroit and Chicago ghetto tech, and Glamour Snobby is the first project that lets every side of that persona breathe: power, pleasure, fluid sexuality, dominance, and a wicked sense of humor, all stitched together with fashion-forward pop-techno production.

Leading the rollout is “Girlz On Tour,” a high-octane collaboration with Luca Eck and electroclash royalty Princess Superstar. The track is a sharp, satirical autopsy of touring life, trading verses about the glossy Instagram illusion and the chaos backstage. It’s electro built for sweaty warehouses, but the wink is unmistakable: nobody on this record is taking themselves too seriously, and that’s exactly why it works.

Critics are already lining up. Hypebae praised her “distinct fashion-forward pop-techno sound, along with the hyper-specific identity she’s established,” while Clash Magazine dubbed her “a fashion-forward icon… blending electroclash with fast-moving Ghetto Tech to craft a unique sound.”

Across nine tracks, Glamour Snobby leans on a tight circle of collaborators including Luca Eck, GDA, Princess Superstar, and Christ Dillinger. Cuts like “Miss Delicious,” “Fake Designer Bitch,” and “Slutcrime Hotline” extend the universe she’s built through cult favorites such as “Muschi Muschi,” “Slut Commandments,” and “Short King Spring”, music that is empowering and provocative in equal measure, designed for a fan base (lovingly known as “The Sluts” or the Bashfulettes) that shows up dressed for the occasion.
