Hotbox Sign to The Artery Foundation and Drop Nu-Alt Banger “Not My Time”

The Artery Foundation is stacking its roster again, and this time they’ve landed a serious heavy hitter. Los Angeles-based trio Hotbox have officially joined the label’s growing lineup, and they’re announcing themselves with all the subtlety of a brick through a windshield.

Their new single “Not My Time” is a nu-alt banger built specifically for bodies bouncing off one another in the pit. It’s the kind of track that fuses alt-metal aggression with hip-hop swagger, hitting that sweet spot where Linkin Park’s mid-2000s catalog meets the modern heavy underground. Massive hooks, raw intensity, and a chip-on-the-shoulder edge — it’s all there.

“‘Not My Time’ is about experiencing the hardships in life that feels like they beat you down, and still withstanding it even if it means losing everything,” the band explains. That defiant streak runs through every second of the track.

Originally from Israel before relocating to LA, Hotbox have built a rabidly loyal cult following known as “TheHooligans.” Their black ski mask aesthetic has already become a visual calling card — fans regularly show up to gigs masked up, mirroring the band and turning every show into something closer to a ritual than a concert. The trio specialize in an alt-metal/rap hybrid that bridges heavy rock and hip-hop culture, and their live shows have earned a reputation for being explosive in the most literal sense.

“Not My Time” was produced by Elliot Polokoff and released through The Artery Foundation in partnership with Skull & Palm Music. With Artery’s track record of breaking heavy music’s biggest names — A Day To Remember, Motionless In White, Beartooth, and many more — Hotbox are positioned right at the front of heavy music’s next wave.
