German metalcore juggernauts Rising Insane are not tapping the brakes — they are flooring it. The band has officially announced their brand-new studio album, DEATHRACE, set for release on August 21 via Long Branch Records, and they are kicking the door down with the high-octane video for the title track.

The announcement arrives hot on the heels of the runaway success of their latest single “Good Enough” (feat. CASKETS), which rocketed past 1 million streams in record time. If that single proved Rising Insane could go toe-to-toe with the genre’s heaviest hitters, DEATHRACE looks poised to confirm they belong at the head of the pack.

Since their debut, the quintet have evolved from a fierce independent outfit into a global heavy-hitter, racking up millions of streams and sharing stages with the likes of Papa Roach, Of Mice & Men, and Stray From the Path. That live-forged ferocity bleeds into every second of the new record.

DEATHRACE is being billed as the band’s most radical chapter yet, stripping away polished refinement in favor of raw power and primal riffs. Alongside “Good Enough,” the album boasts the dark and mature “Error” (feat. Steven Jones of Bleed From Within), plus explosive collaborations with ACCVSED and David Schneider of The Butcher Sisters.

“With DEATHRACE, we realized very early on that we hadn’t just written a single for the album, but also the title track,” the band shares. “For one thing, the track has that energy we feel when we’re on stage celebrating with the crowd. On the other hand, the song describes the state of the world pretty accurately; alongside anger and despair, there’s also a call to stick together in these times.”

That sentiment lands with full force in the accompanying video — a relentless, fist-in-the-air anthem built for the pit and the open road alike.
