Half a century in, and the Teutonic titans are still swinging the hammer. German heavy metal institution Accept are celebrating 50 years of leather, steel, and unmistakable riffs with Teutonic Titans 1976-2026, a colossal new album arriving September 4, 2026 via Napalm Records. And they aren’t celebrating quietly — they’ve invited 50 of heavy music’s most recognizable names to the party.

Spanning 19 reimagined classics that chronologically march from I’m a Rebel (1980) through Eat the Heat (1989), the record pairs guitarist and longtime sonic architect Wolf Hoffmann and vocalist Mark Tornillo with a rotating cast of metal royalty. No two tracks share the same lineup, which means every spin is essentially a new supergroup auditioning for your speakers.

The guest list reads like a metal hall of fame ballot. Tobias Forge (Ghost) takes command of “Save Us” with Ray Luzier behind the kit. Phil Anselmo, Kirk Hammett, and Mikkey Dee absolutely demolish “Fast As A Shark.” Metal God Rob Halford steps up to “Balls to the Wall” with Matthias Jabs on guitar, while Billy Corgan and David Ellefson give “Love Child” a fresh coat of menace. Add K. K. Downing, Bobby Blitz, Hansi Kürsch, Chris Jericho, Ralf Scheepers, Billy Sheehan, Ola Englund, and Jeff Loomis to the roll call, and you start to understand the scope here. The current Accept lineup also re-records “Hellhammer” with Jason McMaster on vocals — a full-circle moment for longtime fans.

“There is no better way to celebrate this 50-year anniversary than to have our musical peers, friends, and inspirations come together with us to record these classic Accept songs,” Hoffmann says. “I am honored and proud to share with the world. I hope everyone enjoys this very special record as much as we all enjoyed making it.”

Accept will spend most of 2026 on the road behind the release, hitting Karmøygeddon, Graspop, Hellfest, Rock Fest, and Stonedead before launching a massive late-fall European headline run with Dynazty and Tailgunner that wraps in Munich on December 20.
