The Red Clay Strays Announce Massive ‘Grateful Tour ’26’ North American Headline Run

The Red Clay Strays are not slowing down — and frankly, why would they? The Mobile, AL six-piece has officially unveiled the Grateful Tour ’26, an epic North American headline run in support of their hugely anticipated third studio album, Grateful, arriving via HBYCO Records/RCA Records on Friday, June 5.

Billed as the band’s biggest live outing to date, the Grateful Tour ’26 kicks off July 30 at Columbia, MD’s Merriweather Post Pavilion and rolls through mid-November, hitting bucket-list rooms like Boston’s TD Garden (August 1), New York City’s Madison Square Garden (August 9), two nights at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena (October 22-23), and Atlanta’s State Farm Arena (November 13). Verified Diehards Presales begin Tuesday, April 28 at 9:00 am local, with Verified Strays Presales following at noon and Red Clay Strays App User Presales kicking off Wednesday, April 29. Public on-sales open Friday, May 1 at 9:00 am local.

A who’s-who of special guests will join the band on select dates, including The Revivalists, Dylan Gossett, Wyatt Flores, Muscadine Bloodline, Shane Smith and The Saints, Sierra Ferrell, Travis Tritt, Haley Reinhart, Brent Cobb, and Aussie outfit Sweet Talk. Festival stops include CMA Fest presented by SoFi (June 5), Tailgates N’ Tallboys (June 21), Born & Raised Music Festival (September 19), and Bourbon & Beyond (September 26). The band will also host the inaugural “The Red Clay Strays Fan Fest 2026” at Rexford, MT’s Abayance Bay Marina from June 24–28, with headline sets from Lukas Nelson and St. Paul & the Broken Bones rounding out the bill.

Before any of that, the Strays officially launch their 2026 campaign today, April 24, with a press conference and top-billed appearance at Stagecoach in Indio, CA, streaming exclusively on Prime Video, the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, and the Amazon Music app. They’ll also tape a headline performance for PBS’ Austin City Limits Season 52 on April 27 at ACL Live at the Moody Theater.

Then there’s the album itself. Grateful is the third chapter in a story that began with 2022’s RIAA Gold-certified Moment of Truth and exploded with 2024’s Made By These Moments — the latter delivering the 3x RIAA Platinum #1 hit “Wondering Why” and a trophy case that now includes Americana Music Honors & Awards’ 2024 “Emerging Artist of the Year,” ACM Awards’ 2025 “New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year,” and CMA Awards’ 2025 “Vocal Group of the Year.”

Produced once again by 9x GRAMMY-winner Dave Cobb between his Savannah home studio and the historic RCA Studio A in Nashville, the 11-track Grateful captures Brandon Coleman, Drew Nix, Andrew Bishop, Zach Rishel, John Hall, and Sevans Henderson at their loosest and most assured — songs built to spill out of dance halls on Saturday night and fill church steeples on Sunday morning.

Lead-off track “Demons In Your Choir” sets the tone, building from a few stirring organ notes into a foot-stomping singalong stacked with wall-shaking guitar riffs and a backing gospel choir led by 3x GRAMMY-winning musician Shannon Sanders. “It’s a different sound,” says Coleman. “And this is a different-sounding album, genre-wise. It’s a good way to start it.”

Bassist Andrew Bishop sums up the through-line: “The title of the album’s a literal meaning to us at this moment in our careers. We’re grateful for how we came out of Made By These Moments and what we have now.”
