Darin & Brooke Aldridge Deliver Faith-Fueled Harmonies on New Album ‘Soul Condition’

Bluegrass lifers Darin & Brooke Aldridge don’t do anything halfway, and their brand-new record proves it. The multi-award-winning duo just dropped their 11th studio album, ‘Soul Condition,’ out now on Billy Blue Records. Eleven tracks deep, the project is a masterclass in the sky-high harmonies and heart-on-sleeve faith that have made the North Carolina natives one of the most decorated acts in modern bluegrass gospel.

This isn’t a quiet release, either. ‘Soul Condition’ arrives with a guest list that reads like a gospel and roots-music dream team. Grand Ole Opry members Sonya Isaacs Yeary and Becky Isaacs Bowman of The Isaacs lend their voices to the closer “When We’re Gone We’re Long Gone,” while GRAMMY-winning gospel powerhouse Jason Crabb joins the duo on “It’ll Be Worth It After All.” The previously released single “You Don’t Knock” — a joyful, stand-up-and-sing-along anthem featuring John Cowan of New Grass Revival and The Doobie Brothers — has already rocketed to #1 on Bluegrass Today’s weekly Gospel Chart.

“‘Soul Condition’ is more than a collection of songs — it’s an album pieced together with care, each track chosen for its ability to reach beyond how we sing and play, touching the deepest places of the soul,” Darin and Brooke shared. “It captures not only our D&B sound, but the spirit and Appalachian heritage that helped shape who we are.”

Tracks from the album have been premiered by GodTube (“You Don’t Knock”), Bluegrass Today (“I’m Going Up When He Starts Down”), and The Music Universe (“It’ll Be Worth It After All”). The duo celebrated release week with appearances on ‘Talk of the Town’ on WTVF (CBS) News Channel 5 in Nashville, RFD-TV, Y’all FM 106.7, ‘Coffee, Country, & Cody’ on WSM 650-AM The Legend, and yet another turn on the storied stage of the Grand Ole Opry — a venue they’ve now graced more than 50 times.
