High Sierra Music Festival Reveals Initial 2026 Lineup: The Word, Don Was, Cymande

The High Sierra Music Festival announced its initial 2026 lineup for the July 2-5 event at Plumas County Fairgrounds in Quincy, California.

Festival organizers confirmed the first wave of performers scheduled to appear at the four-day gathering. The announcement comes as tickets go on sale for the summer event, which returns to its traditional Independence Day weekend slot.

The Plumas County Fairgrounds will host the multi-stage festival for its 2026 edition. Artists from across the country are expected to perform throughout the weekend, with additional acts to be announced in coming months.

Early bird passes are now available through the festival’s website. Camping options range from general tent sites to RV hookups, with car camping also offered on the grounds.

The High Sierra Music Festival has taken place at the Quincy location since 1991. Organizers noted that complete daily schedules and final artist additions will be released closer to the event dates.

Attendees can expect workshops, late-night performances, and vendor areas alongside the main stage programming. The festival typically draws thousands of visitors to the Northern California venue each summer.
