Eaux Claires Festival Plots 2026 Return

The Eaux Claires festival will return in July 2026, marking its first edition since 2018. The announcement comes after an eight-year hiatus for the Wisconsin-based music event.

Festival organizers confirmed the dates through social media channels this morning. The 2026 edition will take place at Foster Farm in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the same location that hosted previous iterations of the festival.

Eaux Claires ran annually from 2015 to 2018 before going on indefinite hiatus. The festival was founded by Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and Aaron Dessner of The National, who built it as a collaborative platform for musicians and visual artists.

Details about the 2026 lineup have not been released. Ticket sales are expected to begin in early 2025, according to festival representatives.

The original festival featured performances from artists including Paul Simon, Chance the Rapper, Wilco, and Erykah Badu across its four-year run. It drew approximately 20,000 attendees during its peak years.

Vernon and Dessner have not commented directly on what prompted the festival’s return. Both musicians have remained active with their respective bands and other projects during the hiatus period.
