Igloofest Edmonton Taps Alison Wonderland, Disclosure & More For Inaugural Lineup

Edmonton will host its first Igloofest this winter, bringing the Montreal-born electronic music festival to Alberta for three nights of outdoor performances. The event runs January 31 to February 2 at Gallagher Park.

Headliners Alison Wonderland, Disclosure and deadmau5 will anchor the inaugural lineup. The festival, known for encouraging attendees to dance outside in freezing temperatures, has operated in Montreal since 2007.

Disclosure will perform Friday night, followed by Alison Wonderland on Saturday. Deadmau5 closes the festival on Sunday evening. Each night features additional performers on multiple stages from 7 PM to midnight.

Tickets went on sale this morning through the festival’s website. Three-day passes cost $285, while single-day tickets range from $95 to $110 depending on the date. VIP packages include access to heated areas and private bars.

The Montreal edition of Igloofest attracts 120,000 attendees annually across its four-week run. Organizers expect 15,000 people per night in Edmonton, though capacity could increase in future years based on demand.

Local warming stations will be available throughout the venue. Food trucks and bars will serve hot beverages alongside regular concessions. The festival encourages winter clothing, particularly insulated boots and gloves.

Edmonton Tourism partnered with Igloofest organizers to bring the event west. The partnership represents part of the city’s strategy to increase winter tourism and establish Edmonton as a year-round destination for live entertainment.
