Dark Star Jubilee Confirms Initial 2026 Lineup With Little Feat, Melvin Seals & More
Dark Star Orchestra announced the first wave of performers for the 2026 Dark Star Jubilee, revealing a lineup that includes Melvin Seals, Little Feat, and additional acts yet to be disclosed.
The festival, which returns for another year, will feature the longtime Jerry Garcia Band keyboardist Melvin Seals as one of the headlining acts. Seals has maintained an active touring schedule since Garcia’s passing in 1995, continuing to perform the music they created together.
Little Feat joins the bill, bringing their blend of rock, blues, and funk to the Jubilee. The band, formed in 1969, continues to tour with surviving members alongside newer musicians who have joined the group over the decades.
Dark Star Orchestra, known for their note-for-note recreations of Grateful Dead concerts, serves as the host band for the annual event. The group has not yet announced the dates or location for the 2026 festival.
Organizers indicated that more artist announcements will follow in the coming weeks. Ticket information and pricing details have not been released.
The Dark Star Jubilee has grown since its inception, attracting musicians from various backgrounds who share connections to the jam band and improvisational rock communities. Past festivals have featured both established acts and emerging artists.
