Sonic Temple 2026 Lineup: Tool, Shinedown, My Chemical Romance & More

Ohio’s Sonic Temple Festival has announced its lineup for spring 2026, with Tool, Shinedown, and My Chemical Romance set to headline the event.

The festival will take place May 14-17, 2026 at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, marking the venue’s return as host site after a three-year hiatus.

Tool will close out the festival on Sunday night, performing their first Ohio show since 2022. The band is expected to draw from their catalog spanning three decades, including material from their most recent album Fear Inoculum.

Shinedown takes the main stage Saturday evening, bringing their arena rock sound to the festival grounds. The Jacksonville-based group continues touring in support of their seventh studio album Planet Zero.

My Chemical Romance headlines Friday night in what organizers describe as an exclusive Midwest appearance for 2026. The New Jersey band reformed in 2019 after a six-year breakup and has been performing select dates across North America.

Additional performers include Falling In Reverse, Ice Nine Kills, Spiritbox, and Knocked Loose across the festival’s four days. More than 75 bands will perform across three stages throughout the weekend.

Tickets go on sale December 15 through the festival’s website, with four-day passes starting at $299. Single-day tickets will be available beginning January 2026.

Festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents expects attendance of 120,000 people over the four days, based on previous years’ numbers. Camping options and VIP packages will also be available for purchase.
