Eusexua by FKA Twigs

Eusexua is FKA Twigs’s first studio album in six years, second to Magdalene back in 2019. The album, inspired by the English singer’s time exploring the clubbing scene in Prague, also features a titular track by the same name and goes deep into the concept of Eusexua, a term the artist coined to define a meditative state with heightened clarity

As a twist, the 11-track album features a more techno-type sound compared to the artist’s previous works, which focused on a touch of pop and R&B elements.

Hurry Up Tomorrow by The Weeknd

With initial recording sessions taking place back in 2022, the Weeknd took a hiatus between releasing the final part of a trilogy that explores existential and self-transformative themes that began with After Hours in 2020 and Dawn FM in 2022.

Sharon Van Etten & the Attachment Theory by Sharon Van Etten

The heading might have confused you into thinking I made a typo, but that’s not the case. Sharon Van Etten recently transitioned from a 15-year solo career that gave us 6 marvelous albums to form a new band called The Attachment Theory. She has embraced this new musical chapter by creating her new album entirely with the band and even naming it after the band.

The 10-track album features the artist experimenting with different musical genres like electro for the first time and explores themes such as freedom, love, and life.

While her following albums, Pains of Growing Up and In the Meantime saw moderate success, her new album is all set to make waves.

The album is expected to feature 14 tracks which excluding Dead Man, are unnamed. Based on Dead Man exploring the final efforts to save a dying relationship, the other tracks may have a similar theme.

So Close To What by Tate McRae

Previously known for sad elements in her music, tracks such as Greedy helped Tate McRae establish herself as an empowered pop girl, one that she continues to embrace. The Canadian artist launched two singles from her album called, It’s OK I’m OK, and 2 Hands. It’s OK I’m OK saw global fame, ranking among the top 20 tracks in various countries while being her highest charting debut on the Billboard Top 100.

The album will feature 13 more tracks, all of which are still unnamed but are guaranteed to immerse fans into the singer’s journey of finding herself, love, and balance in uncertain times.

The Right Person Will Stay by Lana Del Rey

I love Lana Del Rey and am as big a fan of hers as anyone, but lately, she’s got everyone confused! The icon announced going into Country music with collaborator Jack Antonoff, teasing an album called Lasso, which never came! Instead, she released a preview of a track titled Henry, Come On, confirmed to be a part of the album and rumored to be the title track.

While no one knows the theme of the album, the icon has stated that her 13-track album’s sound will see just a slight shift from her previous work, while blending classic country, American, and Southern Gothic elements.
