Classical Crossovers: Summer Watson – “Unveiled”

Summer Watson’s latest single “Unveiled” seems on the right path to repeat the chart-topping success of her previous releases, as most might not know that the British superstar was the first classical artist to sign a $1M deal with Sony music a few years ago. “Unveiled” plays up Watson’s signature genre, a fusion between pop and classical. Over the years, she has proven herself as an artist ready to move away from the classical repertoire, giving her music an international appeal for fans of all kinds of music. Recently, she announced the imminent release of her new EP Unveiled, and teased her fans by dropping the first single, “Break the Silence,” and is now getting another step closer to the EP by sharing “Unveiled.”
After being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, she took her destiny into her own hands and worked very hard on shining her inner light to the world instead of isolating herself. Both “Break The Silence” and “Unveiled” were created with the purpose to share her journey and empower people through pain and challenges to channel the warrior within everyone. One of the strongest impacts and effects of her painful past experiences is that she finally decided to present her own music and lyrics to the world, a beautiful decision we thank her for.
