It’s always appreciated when a remix goes completely in a different direction from the original track. That’s the case for Dogbad, who released “Vaporshave”, a remix of their recent single, “Close Shave”. The remix was created by Kevin Bush of Immortal Girlfriend and Ellen Suhr, who slowed down the original track and gave it a roomier tone. It’s definitely a trip, but a unique take on a song that was already pretty lounge-ready in its original form. The guest saxophone parts from Julia Lewandowski also sound just a little bit crispier when they’re slowed down. Dogbad already have a pair of singles out, and likely have more things in the works soon, so be on the lookout for that. Check out “Vaporshave” below:
