AUDIO: Josh Jenkins – “Lionh3arted”
It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Josh Jenkins, but the ADHD member and Milwaukee artist is back with his second album, “Lionh3arted”. As we saw on his initial project, “Redemption”, Jenkins is a natural on the microphone. On “Lionh3arted”, however, Jenkins comes into his own, with a motivated flow and an expansive sound. Rather than proving his worth on this album, Jenkins can move have tracks with a purpose, such as conversation on racism on “Melanin” featuring Astroslik. The range is there, though, as heavier tracks are offset by cuts like the more lighthearted “Party”. While there are still elements of finding his voice, “Lionh3arted” is the evolution of Josh Jenkins as an artist, and there’s much more on the way from here. Check out the album below:
