Milwaukee Music Company aims to pair local artists with national acts

Extension Cord is a new music promotion and marketing company based in Milwaukee. The company offers a variety of services to local artists, including management, advertising and design. In addition to band promotion, Extension Cord also books shows in Milwaukee that pairs national acts with local artists.
The company was founded by Mark and Marki Forstner to celebrate the Milwaukee music scene by bringing attention to both Wisconsin-based artists and the unique smaller venues of the city.
Extension Cord is hosting a Kick-Off Party Tuesday, May 30th at Club Garibaldi, featuring Vandoliers and Wisconsin’s own Driveway Thriftdwellers. The next show will feature Alternative Country group Sarah Shook & The Disarmers and Twin Brother at Club Garibaldi June 29th. Tickets for both shows are $10.
