No, this isn’t a typo. Yes, that Michael Cera released a folk/pop album this week, seemingly out of nowhere. Honestly, I’m surprised it hadn’t happened sooner. Complete with 18 tracks, and even a cover of Blaze Foley’s “Clay Pigeons”, it’s actually not funny, which if you’re keeping track is a good thing in this case. This album is very distinctively, well, Michael Cera. He’s always been very into music, as we’ve seen in most of his roles. All things considered, this could have been a lot worse (see dozens of other actors and actresses making music). The only thing that would’ve possibly made this better is if he would’ve had a love song dedicated to Maeby. Check out the album below:
