Keep It Secret
Sorry, I’ve been lazy on the blog. This week is finals week at Marquette, but there will be significant updates and changes over winter break.
Right now, I’m listening to Keep It Secret’s “Hope Slide Viewpoint” EP. Keep It Secret was a local band in Vancouver that hasn’t been around for a few years now. Back in 2006, though, they were the first band to contact my old band-type-thing on Myspace (Does that still exist?). Even if it was just to add a friend at the time, I became hooked on their music. If you can get your hands on a copy of their EP, do so. I remember their lead guitarist, Carter, sent me a shoebox with a shirt, buttons, and a few hard copies of their disc after the band had broken up. Actually, I think I have at least two copies of their EP. That was pretty damn cool of him. Anyway, here’s their video for “White Rain”, which never made it to an album, but is still an awesome track. Enjoy:
