After some time off, Shle Berry is back to business with a new single, “What I Like.” The track is primed for the summertime, with a beat that bounces off of an acoustic guitar line, creating a sound that is ripe for Shle’s pocket as an emcee. The hook is melodic, but Berry brings the flow when necessary, talking about hitting up a girl in the city and bringing her to the party. It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Shle Berry, but this track and an upcoming show at the Wisconsin State Fair seem to be promising signs of things moving forward.
