Chicago alt-rockers Empires have been through a whirlwind couple of years it seems. The band released two albums, nearly went bankrupt in the progress, and now have seen some great success in the leadup to their next album, “Orphan”. The band recently played the Late Show with David Letterman, and “Orphan” will be released on Island Records on September 23rd.
